The softest moments of my life are when I can sit still with God and just meditate on how good He is. He always knows what is best, and the purity of His love cannot be found anywhere else. There are so many places people seek to find love, acceptance and belonging; but in each of those things, or in each of those people are moments of disappointment, frustration and incompleteness.
A love that allows a person to feel whole, and with full confidence feel complete is found in the Lamb. For He became flesh so we may be saved (John 1:14). He loved us before we knew Him and sought out our affection. Then, so there would be no doubt of how much the Lord loves us, He gave His life willingly. So, when we can sit with Him, count it as joy regardless of what is going on in life. Be so thankful He stands in the midst of all things with us. Thankful to serve a God who wants to be accountable for us. Thankful for a love that is incomparable to anything else.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love,” (1 Corinthians 13:13 NIV).
