Our Limits, His Abundance

Getting our minds wrapped up in checking off our own perceived limitations is an open door to utter doubt and depression. I know for myself I am guilty of comparing what I would like to do with what is possible right now, and instantly I can write myself off as incapable before giving something a shot. Completely against what comes out of the Word of God that you and I are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and never is it our own strength that is required, but the sole trust God’s strength is supporting. When I remind myself to trust Him with my now, what is seen are all the unseen promises to be fulfilled and faith comes alive. Praises to the utmost, that God’s minimum is superior and more capable than our greatest effort.

By His perfect design we have access to His Spirit through Jesus Christ, and His Spirit delightfully takes residence in us by all His power and authority to provide us life and power to live out His will. Such an amazing mission for our life to honor the Lord’s to-do-list instead of our own, and be blessed in abundance beyond anything we can grasp in the natural sense. But also, draw the Lord into the day-to-day, and our hobbies and personal endeavors, for even in what may seem small God shows up. Shift away from human limits, purge out the old ways of the unsaved self (1 Corinthians 5:7-8) and stand rooted in God’s majesty. For He will amaze you of how He can steer your life toward doing the unthinkable and unimaginable, and in it give Him the glory. Amen.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 NKJV).
