Connection is critical to thriving and whether or not we want to admit it or not we need one another. The Lord is the Master of encouragement. It is from Him we should first seek refreshment, so His Spirit within us can prepare us to refresh another. Going into the battle, Do not be afraid nor be dismayed, (Joshua 8:1a). Standing in the thick of it, God is with you in the waters, the rivers will not swallow you, nor the fire consume you (Isaiah 43:2). Coming out of a trial the Lord shall provide you rest, He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul Psalm 23:2b-3). In meditation enjoy being able to call to remembrance how you have been encouraged by the Lord. Then welcome the opportunity to pass on encouragement when the door opens. Share with others the overflowing grace of Jesus, the salvation available through Christ, the truth of God’s love. Reach out to others, fellowship together, and receive those placed into your life with gladness. Our Father never fails to be there, so let us be there for others.
